Choose my wedding shoes! *flash*

Sarah-March-2013, 17 January, 2012 at 14:04 Posted on Planning 0 15

^^^ This should be at the bottom but it's being stubborn and refusing to move!!

Hello, I'm having a bit of a shoe dilemma and I want it resolved so I can get my evenings back ? I have my dress, and am trying to find shoes. The thing which is limiting me is that my fiance is the same height is me and doesn't want me to wear heels. I will look like "a monster" aparently!!! Anyway I tried on a pair of 4inchers and stood next to him and it wasn't too bad, so I'm not ruling out heels. I really feel my dress needs as much heel as I can get away with!

I'm also not loving many cream/ivory shoes that I'm seeing, and want some pink rose type heels ideally.

So this is my dress (which isn't as shiny in real life!)...

It's not a great picture but I can't copy from the website! These are the shoe choices I have whittled it down to...

(louboutin!)

I'm awaiting confirmation from boutique about heel height of these

and a pair I can't seem to get the image for...

Would you go for any of these? Do you have anything else you think would go?

Thanks ladies Smiley smile

Of the ones you've linked to I prefer the Debenhams ones too. The Louboutin site you've linked to sells fakes, I'm not sure if you're aware.

Another vote for the Debenhams ones. The Miumiu ones are too clumpy, as are the ones from Perdita's, as are the "No-boutins". The Farfetch ones are, well, far-fetched but also not keen on suede as a fabric match with a wedding dress.

Another vote for the Debenhams ones too. Agree with Footlong about the Perdita's too, they seem really clumpy.

I'm not sure I'm keen on any of them. My favourites are the farfetched ones but not sure about suede with a wedding dress.

Too many "bobbles" on your shoes might catch on the hem of your dress?

Also, (a personal "objection") I am 4" shorter than my H and he really didn;t want me to be anywhere near my height. I wore a pair of ivory shoes from Next (that I decorated myself) that has 1.5 inch heels. I would have felt freakily tall in 4" heels (I'd have been 6' tall)

    Hmm much rambling there. Useful?

I'm going to go with the Debenhams ones aswell, personally there is a bit too much going on with the others and although the Miumiu are nice shoes maybe better for wearing with jeans than a wedding dress.

Ok I have just tried to order the Debenhams ones (I'm an easily persuaded sort!) and despite entereing the right details and have enough funds in the bank, it just keeps saying there has been a problem with my payment ☹️
