Christmas cake

I am going to Ice and Decorate my cake this weekend but have no idea on how to decorate it. My creative side seems to be asleep. I am in competition with my Mum this year for the best cake and my sister is judging it. Does anyone have any ideas or photos?

    Last year, I had white stars (hardened with thick cake wire in them as a prop to put in cake), silver balls and cake lustre. I had a cake sparkler too. I did mine in an awful rush so could look much better if you took the time over it.
