Christmas tree/snowman cutters - from where?

SAM83, 17 December, 2008 at 13:28 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 4

I am attempting to make biscuits with my daughter and want to have them cut into Christmas shapes (trees/snowman/santa etc) where can I get the cutters from?

Also, I want a little tin/box to put them in. The only one I have seen that is Christmassy is in BHS and it was £20 (it did have sweets in it but I just want the tin)

Thanks

Tesco sell them, they are about £2 for a (plastic) tub of plastic shapes, they are great.

They also sell Christmas tins for about £5. ?

Thank you both. Will check out Tescos later as I am going there and if not will try pound shop and wilkos. Never thought of them.

Francesca - your pics look great. Can I ask what recipe you used for the biscuits. Me and my daughter are virgin biscuit cooks so I havent a clue what to do! Also, how long do biscuits last. Can I make them the weekend for xmas? Thank you

From somerfields for £1.99 I got a Dr Oetker / super cook kit which came with a christmas tree cutter, with a hole in the middle to melt boiled sweets in to make a stained glass effect, for the tree. So cool. Keeping the cutter obviously, to make more.
