I haven't dared look (although that is possibly more that I don't know where I put the scales... I weigh in next week as they are closed on Tuesday. Am banking on the fact I have had an upset stomach to even out the chocolate consumption ?.

Like Baron, I'm not fussing about it for a few weeks. However [brag alert] we did have a rather active Christmas week.

    Sunday - 11k run/walk
    Monday - 10k run
    Tuesday - 10k run
    Wednesday - 10k run
    Thursday - 10k run
    Friday - 10k run
    Saturday - rest
    Sunday - 17k run
    Today - 6.5k recovery run

So I feel I am able to be relaxed about the vast amount I ate and drank ?

Fark me, Soph! Take it Ludlow treated you well?

I only managed two runs - my new orthotics have left me hobbled ? One of those runs was on Christmas Day though (which obviously counts as 2 runs for sheer commitment ?)

Ludlow was amazing, thanks Baron. We did disgrace ourselves by getting the giggles over pudding in La Becasse ? but had an amazing time, eating like pigs. It is darn hilly around there I have to say!

Did you have a good Christmas?

I did thanks - very busy though and I'm knackered. Two birthday parties for the MIL's 60th (one of which I did the catering), the usual festivities and then a wedding on the following Saturday...nice to be back at home having been away since Saturday 20th!

Never made it to Ludlow for my usual Christmas trip because we were so busy...my supply of odd local cheeses from the Mousetrap shall have to wait a few weeks. It can replace the drinking, which I'm giving up until after the marathon. Yikes.

Techinically I've stayed the same over Christmas - but I put on 5lb on the run up to, which I'm still carrying. I've done Davina a couple of times and been out for a couple of runs (one of which was this evening and was 5 miles - more than I meant to do!) which I think has counter-acted all the celebrations I've been scoffing. I'm feeling really lardy though and now I've got pretty much a working kitchen again I can sort my meals out. Hurrah for veg and no take-aways!

My initial gain on Sat morning was 1.5lbs, however weighed myself tonight (ahead of my official WI tomorrow) and looks as though I may have lost 1lbs.

I am going to let myself enjoy NYE/NYD without pointing, but won't go overboard (for me that is lol) and then, eat super healthy again until WI next weds, so I at least STS, maybe another 1lbs loss.

Then I will be back to normal

I normally do SW but can't be arsed with all the preparation, and basically I put on weight because I overeat and still overate on this.

So, this week I have been eating less and moving more. My knees are fooked so I can't do loads but do stay active. I've done two 3 mile walks at lunchtimes.

In the new year I'll be walking/ cycling to work 1.5 miles down the road, rather than doing loads of driving, which I hope will help. I have a stone to get off. I lost 1st this time last year, and have another to go.

I've only put on 1lb so far but will see what happens next Sunday. I haven't been to the gym at all over christmas or the week before. Starting back up again next Monday.

I've more or less had the whole of December off dieting and have gained an amazing 15 pounds! Diet started again today.

At today's weigh in I've lost 2lbs. I was quite good up until Christmas day so am expecting a gain next week as this week's indulgences creep on. So 2lbs down, only another 25lbs to go, whooop!

According to my scales (don't go to class anymore), I've gained 5lb in three days. ? And I must admit, they were bloody good 3 days.

Last christmas I somehow managed to lose 3lb without following ww over christmas and got to goal. My leader was stunned. ?

I've put on 3lbs but in the last two weeks I've managed two Body Pump classes, two sessions with my Personal Trainer, walked 10km and walked a further 12.5km a few days later.

I'm hoping the extra I've gained won't hang around too long.
