Church Ceremony Readings/Hymns

I've just been going through some on yourchuchwedding website, and they don't sound like anything that fits 'us' as a couple. As for the hymns I've chosen 2 well known ones, I've got Lord of the Dance first and the just before our vows I've got One more step along the world I go.

Can I ask what other people have done for their church service?

    We've chosen 'for the beauty of the earth' - we don't really know it but OH likes it when he has heard it and 'give me joy in my heart'. I do like 'lord of the dance' though. While we are signing the register the choir are singing 'be still for the presence of the lord'.

    We're having an exert from Song of Solomon for our bible reading Smiley smile

    We're also having 'Give me joy in my heart'. The second hymn is 'One more step along the world i go'.
