Classy Cheap Hen Do

Mrsbeevers2b, 29 March, 2012 at 19:13 Posted on Planning 0 4

Hey everyone!!

We have decided to go abroad to get married, and now I'm thinking about my hen party. Seen as everyone is paying to come away to the wedding, I want my hen party/weekend to be relativly cheap for people. I'm not really into going into town, I think its a bit boring. So I was wanting to do something classy, but that will involve alcohol in some way. Does anyone have any ideas please????

    Where you based?

How about afternoon tea and champagne somewhere?

    Or champagne brunch?

Don't know where you are based but the Glasgow Groupon regularly has vouchers for afternoon tea with champagne/cocktails so might be worth looking out for cheap deals.

How about a day at the races? Single price to get in, then people spend as much or as little as they want.

Or a garden party; relaxed with a bbq or slightly more up market with afternoon tea, cakes and champagne?

    Hey

Thanks for all you're suggestions. Loving the afternoon tea and champagne idea, I'm going to search out places near me that can do it, plus I think it will be something for all ages and different for most people. If anyone has got any other idea's keep em coming I'm sure I will keep adding things to the day as I get closer to the time.

I'd suggest afternoon tea as well............ or a cupcake/lingerie/whatever making class - we're doing fascinators and I know there's an upgrade afternoon tea package as well which we're not going for to keep costs down. Picnic - afternoon tea basically but outside - depends on the weather though, girls night in with spa treatments, movies, chocolates and champers, if you're on the coast - hiring a yacht and having canapes and champers?
