I don't want the clocks to go back an hour. We're back from Greece less than 48 hours and have already gone back two. Child is already getting up at 5am. So tomorrow it will now be 4am. Weep.

Yay! I originally thought I was due to work a night shift but I had made a mistake and am not on until the morning so I get an extra hour in bed. Hurrah and huzzah!

I think I'm one of the few people who likes winter and I look forward to the nights drawing in. No Seasonal Affective Disorder here, no sirree.

Aw, sorry. You have my sympathies. I copped (no pun intended) for the extra long night shift last year.

Can someone tell my toddler please? Given that he was bouncing off the walls at 5am this morning I suspect it's going to be 4am tomorrow.

Thanks for this - I'm dimwitted enough that I wouldn't have realised.

Now, how to break this to the small shouty one... ?

Me too, i'm not so keen on getting up in the dark mornings but i'm quite happy for the evenings to be dark so i can pull the blinds, put the table lamps on and make the house all nice and cosy.

When I worked in the hospital, we didnt get an extra hours pay for workin the extra hour, it was salaried. They said it always evened itself out cos at some point youd work the shift when they went forward.

Bollocks, out of the three years i was there, i only worked 1 year when they went forward and two when they went back

Bit late telling me now!! I only realised when my alarm went off this morning ?

My TV stopped working on Sat night night ? so spent yesterday in the wilderness not having a clue that the clocks had turned back. Normally my Mother phones to remind me but she didn't this year ?

We've been away for the weekend. I have no idea what time it is as half my clocks/computers/things with the time on have changed by themselves, a few were changed by Mr FtG, some haven't changed at all. And my watch and phone are still on UK time, which is even more confusing...
