Colour Schemes...

I'm thinking about Champagne, dusky pink and sage green

H2b wants a light gray suit xx

We are having white flowers with greenery bits....keeping everything else to white, tiny touches of green (mainly in the greenery in bouquets and centrepieces) and neutral bridesmaids dresses (I think...the BM dresses may change colour when I find get round to choosing some!)

We are having Royal Blue, i am going to try and bring a bit of silver into it aswell.

We're having blue! Originally it was going to be a deep midnight kind of blue, but then my cousin's fiancee told me she was having navy blue, which is pretty similar, and also we're getting married in August, so we changed it instead to a lighter shade. My BM dresses are hopefully going to be a cornflower blue, but I'm keeping the midnight blue in there a bit by having sashes in that colour! And then everything else will be in varying shades of blue, with some pearly white kind of shades thrown in too ?

At least, that's what I'm hoping, it's all a bit theoretical at the moment because we haven't actually started ordering yet haha!

We're going for pale blue with hints of pale pink (i.e. for flowers, some decoration). I originally wanted pink but oh didn't so we went for pale blue instead and as there isn't a lot of pale blue flowers we've decided to use mainly light pink and other pastel colours for the flowers.

My OH is having a black suit.

My colours are vintage green and dusty pink. Think vintage/ country garden.

Peacock colour scheme here. Main colour I like at the mo is purple as main colour matched with bits of teal and blue x

I'm having pale turquoise and pale pink although it's not vintage, this is all I see when I look at things in these colours ? am toying with adding in some pale yellow here and there but not sure how yet.

We're getting married in December so are going for the (popular) warm purple/cadburys purple, Ivory and Silver (minus my dress which has gold detail lol) xx

We have no colour! Everything is ivory - the bridesmaids and flower girls, the flowers, the linen, the decorations.... everything. The woman who owned the bridal shop where I got my dress said I was the only person to ever has that, other than her sister... random! I can't wait :-)

I'm doing black, white and the cadbury purple... which is very common... but anything to do with chocolate and I've got to have it!

Only kidding, the real reason is because my fiance got me a beautiful amethyst engagement ring because it's my favorite colour so we'll stick with purple for our wedding too x

We're having chocolate brown and dusky pink. I loved it when I saw it and OH and I found we didn't like anything else nearly as much.

Loopz - we are having chocolate brown and cream/ivory. Can I just ask you what you are doing in terms of the ushers suits and bridesmaid dresses? Are you matching these? We have found brown morning suits which my OH, best man and all the ushers will wear, with my OH wearing an ivory cravat and the others wearing brown ones. I wanted chocolate brown bridesmaid dresses with a cream sash but my OH thinks this will be too much, so he says either the boys will wear brown suits or the bridesmaids will wear brown dresses, we can't have both. I on the other hand think it will look nice, but I just wanted to ask what you are doing seeing as you have brown with your colour scheme too!?

Ohhhh not too sure now we are thinking of Pink baby pink bridesmaids dresses, cravats and bright pink chair sashes, flowers ect no theme as such just love hearts chocolate hearts diamante hearts on invite, cake ect.

Flowers pink Calla Lillie’s not sure what to put with them ?? Also they is a flower on my dress Ryland Joyce Lola.

After reading your colour schemes I’m thinking maybe we need another colour apart from pink and maybe we are going to have too much going on with pink, hearts and flowers.

Sooooo Glad wedding is not till June 2013 as really don’t have a clue what will look right or what I want L

I'm going with ivory and keeping it simple. i want hints of dusky pink in there, most probably in the birdesmaids colours annd tables. My venue is so in your face that i think i should keep the colours simple.

We have coral, green & white! Looks lovely if I do say so myself

Were going for a Romantic sophisticated theme. White, Red with a hint of Black. Plus these colours are H2B favourite as they are Manchester United Colours! haha!! Flowers: Mainly Red Roses and some black roses.

Our cake, S.T.D, invitations etc will have the Damask touch to them too!

We've not looked into suits yet, but I was thinking grey suits for the men and brown dresses for the girls, but not too sure if introducing grey is a colour too many! Brown suits and dresses would look nice. I hadn't thought of this. I don't think it would be too much though. What colour would he want if the girls had brown??

We are having turquoise, navy and ivory. there is only going to be minimal navy but we needed something to break up all the turquoise coz it was very strong.

I think cream suits maybe with brown cravats? Although now I think grey suits would look nice, dark grey maybe. This is now starting to get annoying as my OH has had a discussion about this with one of my bridesmaids who is his sister and she is now sending me pictures of ivory dresses, one of which has similar detailing at the top to my wedding dress... erm I don't think so!! I don't see the problem with brown suits for the men and brown dresses with cream sashes for the girls...

Hi Mrs.2013, have you decided on a colour yet ? You mentioned that you liked peach/pink...will your man be wearing a pink shirt and what colour is your dress? I havn't decided on anything yet...our wedding is also next year but we are going abroad. I don't even know what colour dress I want,lol ! x

Hmmm, see when you get into ivory/cream bridesmaid dresses, there is the issue of them looking like a bridal dress. Esp, if they have similar detailing! Dark grey would be nice I think....might have to visit the suit people this weekend to investigate!!
