colour schemes again. and flowers. and decorating churches

Right i have decided that im definatly going to go with the aqua/tiffany blue. so if anybody comes accross any of these items on there search in these colours please let me know, as i have a feeling some things may be a bit hard to find. particularly bridesmaid dresses that are reasonably priced but in this colour, ideally id like to buy them from the high street so if you see any shout me.

im also going to book to go see a florist at the weekend. anybody got any ideas what flowers are in season in july and look nice in white that i can also have lots of greenery with. if possible not the most expensive cos on a bit of a budget.

also for thos of you getting married in a church, what decorations are you providing in there?

My sister had roses in her bouquet and in the church my Mum did huge pedestals and pillar mounted "bouquets" of roses and lilies and then padded it out with a couple of varieties of chrysanthemum and spray carnations (as well as lots of foliage from the garden).

Our chuch is quite big and I think Mum did 5 pedestals, 6 pillar things, the front of the choir stalls, register table, the font and a couple of tables at the back. BUT check with your vicar. A friend of mine had all of her flowers planned, was about to see her florist and happened to phone the vicar up about something and he said that the only people allowed to do the flowers were the "ladies of the church". They would decorate the church as they always did but in her colours. The only exception was that she would have to make a contribution if she wanted large pedestals done. So she got her flowers for next to nothing.
