Colour schemes. Sorry if this has been posted recently

Sophie-Leighan, 21 April, 2010 at 19:48 Posted on Planning 0 43

So ladies what colour schemes have you all gone for?

We have decided on teal, fuschia and silver with a butterfly theme. It sounds like it will all clash really badly lol but have seen a lady in a wedding magazine that had teal and fuschia and it looked beautiful! Very summery too as we are getting married next summer Smiley smile

Sounds lovely! I love putting pink and blue together....we did a fuschia and turquoise wedding last summer and I think teal & fuschia will work just as well.

Ivory and champagne for me, our venue room has cream and red in it though so hopefully it will all go together in the end!

    Hi,

We've gone for ivory and red. Mainly due to the season. We're having a November wedding so the colours go really well with.

Our colour scheme is baby pink and cream/ivory.

We are getting married on 1st october which I know is autumn, but I love pink so it had to be the colour.

We're having aubergine, champagne gold and a pearl theme. A winter wedding so wanted to keep the colours warm. I'm loving the nice bright colour themes though ?

I feel like our theme is quite boring compared to everyone elses! Red and white is how I've always imagined it to be x

We're going for ivory and champagne/pale golds and also soft accents of orange - apricots/peachy colours, that sort of thing. Didn't realise how unusual it was to include orangey shades in a wedding colour scheme until we started planning it - wanted a hint of summer though as it's a July wedding. Hopefully it will all come together!

    Hey

When I posted about colour schemes a while ago Sherrie posted some beautiful teal and fuschia pictures as I could not decide between the two colours and these colours do have a beautiful summery feel to them.

We're having peacock blue (is that teal?!?!) as our main colour, probably with some pink or purples in the flowers.

We were supposed to be having a sage green/dusky, vintage pink however it seems to also be encompassing lilac, blues and purples as well now lol! Good job I'm going for the rustic country feel ?
