Thank you! Yes it did hurt. Some parts I was totally fine. But some parts, the bit down the spine was agony. It took 6 hours & I probably couldn't have done much more than that I have to say.

Pah!!! Yeah I saw it! I was literally just trying to remember what the phrase was, I was going to start my post: OT - I'm now a major slapper....... but decided against it because I couldn't remember the exact wording. Thank you!

I'm officially curtsying as I get knighted: Miss Katie Chavvy Slapper Vale.

:-) panic not! You've not insulted me at all. I've been a chavvy slapper for about 16 years, this tattoo is actually a cover up of a tiny flower (which by my own admission was a bit chavvy!)

In all honesty I'm generally not really a fan of tattoos but that is such a pretty image/drawing/ink (no idea what the lingo is!).

Who drew the original artwork? Did you?

Thank you. No I told her what flowers as I want, as they all represent someone in my family; and the space she was allowed on my back & that was the design she came up with. She's was an artist first & then began tattooing her drawings from there.

The reason it is so delicate is because she uses no black outlines at all, so it looks like a painting. I searched high & low for a tattoo I really wanted & found this lady. There is a 4 month waiting list for her & I know why.

yeah I got there at 9.30 & left at 4.30. But I did have a half hour lunch break. Once she started, she was finishing. No way was I leaving without it finished! :-)
