completely O/T ; car insurance?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a 6 month car insurance policy but not having much luck. Only found esure but too expensive. If i stick with my annual one, then i will need to cancel 6 months in and face a hefty cancellation fee!!! Nightmare!

Any ideas?xxx

    Just curious, but why will you need to cancel after 6 months?

    Hi Kelly,

    It's cos we're heading off round the world for a year for our honeymoon, but we dont leave til september so need to keep the car until then...xxx

    Not really sure who does 6 month cover etc. Mine's with AXA if you haven't tried them.

    Why don't you go and have a word with an independent broker? Get some advice.

    Have you tried tempcover.com?

    Incidentally, what will happen to the car when you go on honeymoon? If you're keeping the car, you might be better off keeping the insurance. You never know what might happen.
