Computer/wireless HELP??

I have somehow deleted the wireless connection from my home computer, my laptop is still working!
Does anyone know anything about them, i have a wizard thing on the computer through the control panel but when i go to set up it tells me to use a USB flash drive????? i dont have one of these nor do i remember having one when we set up the wireless access.
Can anyone help im stuffed!!!!!
