Confetti quantities

Gwyn4940, 31 May, 2010 at 18:48 Posted on Planning 0 12

Does anyone have any ideas how much confetti we are likely to need?

Cheers

Gwyn

Surely it depends on how many guests you have???

Allow enough for a handful each, and remeber that some guests will bring their own.

I've always just taken my own confetti to a wedding, so i'm not supplying any at my wedding.

If youd really like a confetti shot its best to get some. Youd be surprised how few people take it with them now....

To save money allow a handful or cone per lady and child

At an south african wedding I saw the bride had a big vase/gold fish bowl filled with confetti by the door that guests grabbed a handful of... you could get a couple of boxes from confetti and then its first come first served xxx

Thanks ladies, have to have biodegradable confetti and was thinking of delphinium petals. Julia - I like the idea of just supplying a bowl for people to dip into rather than giving it out to all, now to find a bowl!

I normally take some to weddings but really like the confetti shots so don't want to risk not having any. Have a couple of weddings later after ours that I can take any remaining to!

We have 80 guests in total so think that I will get about 2 litres worth, if I order now I can see how much that looks like when it arrives.

Gwyn, Can I ask where you're buying the confetti from?

    Hi Vickstix,

I had seen some on amazon, ebay and confetti direct, all similar prices that didn't shock me too much!
