confetti table plans

Toastcat, 29 August, 2011 at 16:49 Posted on Planning 0 12

Hi

I wondered whether anyone has purchased any of the Confetti 'print at home' table plans? They look good on the website, and are good value for money, but I'm not the most arts and crafty person in the world, and I was wondering how easy they are to do? We want something quite simple (similar to this, perhaps http://shop.confetti.co.uk/product/blue-sugar-and-spice-table-planner-kit-a2-size/101409/), so I don't see the point of spending tonnes of money, but similarly, I want it to look nice and "professional"....

Any thoughts or comments much appreciated!

It looks nice but probably just as easy and cheaper to make it yourself, it depends what look your after i think i would like a little colour in mine but thats just me the more colour and sparkle the better good luck though i am dreading the seating plan bound to upset someone lol x

Yeah, I tried to make one myself, but just didn't come out right - we don't have the sharpest gullotine in the world! tbh I think by the time I've spent money on quality materials etc I may as well just spend a bit more money and buy a pre-made one. I'm not mad on sparkles, butterflies etc as that wouldn't really fit that well with our theme. So really just wondered if anyone had tried to make one of the confetti ones and what their experiences were!

I'm not too worried about the actual seating of people, but perhaps that's because I haven't made a start on the seating plan yet!

A little suggestion that may help on the seating plan issue - my lovely friend who's a wedding photographer tells me that several weddings currently don't allocate places at the tables.

They'll have a plan listing who's at which table, but leave it to the individuals to decide on which chair exactly.

Just a thought... I like the idea but my OH gave it an immediate No. Then again when it comes to it, as he has no family and all the seating dilemmas will be mine for my family, he'll probably tell me he doesn't care lol

I've bought one. Got it a bit cheaper in the sale a while ago but haven't actually done anything with it yet. That's my next big job after our RSVP date passes next Saturday. Not looking forward to it! I've got the same ribbon & diamantes that we've used on other stuff but I'm not at all crafty or creative either so hoping it'll be ok.

My friend's table plan for her wedding cost £250 form her stationery lady - I thought "Sod that - I'll get one from Confetti"

I've just had a little look on the confetti site at the DIY table plans and most are the same price as mine are ready done! I've never actually seen the quality of confetti's stationery up close so can't comment on that but they do have some lovely stuff! Heres one of my table plans anyway, they're £20 x

I think yours are really good value Sarah Jayne. I'm making my own as I'm relatively crafty but I think yours are great.

I considered confetti but I'm not very creative and wasnt sure how fiddly it would be and it the paper would be too thick for the printer etc.

I think I will be going with one of Sarah-Jaynes. I can't see me framing and keeping it after so want something elegant but cheap

I am also able to help with these if you don't fancy doing it yourself.

    Mine also start at £20.00
