Fair to mention it why exactly? At this point in time when those of us who have stayed here have finally got a nice OT? So you can grab all the posters here and ruin it for us again? Read your post on DW just now to this effect, as I thought you might have had to have a dig. So cheers for that. Why not just leave us to it instead of being such an arse about it?

Seriously though, thanks for bringing this to our attention. It's nice to see that you still want to come and join in with us. Oh, and that you noticed that OT is getting back up on it's feet with new people.

P.S. Thanks for the kind offer to join you but I know I'm perfectly happy here. I logged out of my DW account about 2 weeks ago and don't plan on going back. Not even to lurk...

Your doing the right thing Petal. I shouldn't really torture myself, haven't been there for a long time, but when I read the OP I knew one or two would be having a laugh at our expense. I don't get why they have to be so spiteful, but hey ho. I'll try to refrain from lurking!

The way I see it catarina is if they want to be spiteful then what person in their right mind who is now posting on a 'less scary' OT (I know this as this seemed to be a majority opinion from those who have recently started to post) is going to want to go there and post instead? Personally I don't need that crap in my life. Honestly, if that is their idea of fun they can keep it.

Besides, no one is the boss of anyone. People can post where ever and when ever they want. If people want to post here and there that is up to them. Or not here and there. Or only here. One little post from some person called Mr JK is hardly going to mean everyone is going to go running...

You see I really can't imagine DWers giving two tits that Hitched is busy again. They have a forum that suits them down to the ground and gives them the freedom they want, that they specifically didn't get here anymore. Also I think Mel is very quick to respond to isues etc.

So I am confused/bemused by MrJKs post...

Rather than bumping this up we could go discuss this on another thread. Personally I really wasn't that surprised to see this today. I know many of them still lurk and I bet they are all itching to get stuck into this here but can't. ?

Sorry Maryline. I didn't mean to offend you or anyone else. x I honestly haven't read the posts on DW as I honestly do not go there at all these days (not enough time on my hands for one thing). For the record, there are a lot of people I love on DW but I just prefer it here. x

Ahhh... but I thought the problem originally anyway was that the bosses of hitched don't pay a lot of attention to the forums so it will probably be here a loooooooong time?

I think what probably peed some people off was that the post appeared at the same time as OT was getting busy again, which would make people think it was a dig at the users. Rather than the management. MrJK is too subtle for us what was left behind innit?

Oh I def agree with you, but not many would realsie it was pure coincidence and anyway is there anything such as pure coincidence? I think OT got busy again because someone from DW came back and said DW is a year old look at how dead OT is and stirred Petal up. And tbh Petal told me to post lots and I can't refuse her...

Same here, sorry Maryline, didn't mean to offend you either, I'm sorry that I did. Lots of people I like on DW too, but it's not a forum for me and I miss them terribly. I never really got the animosity towards Hitched at the time, hence why I stayed I guess, their forum, their rules. If it was aimed at management, fine. But then why post the link? It's not like management aren't aware?

As an aside I note that they are apparently the most popular forum in the UK on their host site i.e. freeforums and not in the whole world of website forums. I assume this is based on users and posts per day. Just to clear that up as I was a bit confused with this at first.
