Proposal - On the beach in Barbados on my birthday! Husband was going to do it in a nice restaurant that evening but couldn't wait any longer and proposed late afternoon on a quiet beach. I spent most of the evening very quiet apparently and then woke up the next morning and it really hit me. I jumped out of bed and ran up to him for a big hug and said "we're engaged!!" Think husband had been getting a bit worried and was relieved bless him! Spoke to family on the phone while we were there but kept it a secret to tell everyone when we got home from holiday. It was soooo hard not to say anything but I remember being so excited on the flight home, just dying to tell everyone!
