cookie table?

Springbride2013, 10 September, 2012 at 14:42 Posted on Planning 0 8

Hi all

We're thinking of doing a cookie table (like a sweetie table) on the day.....has anyone done this? Wondering how many cookies i'll need to make and whether they should be out the whole reception or displayed later....

If anyone has any opinions or advice please help!

Love the idea in principal however with my sensible foodie snob head on cookies never taste the same the next day which would put me off having them unless they can be freshly baked on the day.

I love this idea!! You would need to find some way of keeping them fresh throughout the day as they may go soft/stale if left out in the open all day. Fab idea though!!

Love this idea! We are doing something similar, but with donuts and scones as the main part and having some sweets and biscuits too. I was worried about keeping them fresh too. Went to a wedding last week and they had a large piece of fabric over the whole table. Wouldnt provide much cover but might keep insects of the goodies I suppose!

Thanks for the help and advice!

I think i'll do some sample ones to see how long they'll last for (any excuse.....!) and look into how to cover them on the day....
