Cool jobs

This. H and I both studied to be audio engineers, but given that it's more who you know and not what you know up here, we both ended up in jobs that has nothing to do with it! And now, with it being 4 years since we graduated, technology has changed so much that we both doubt we'd ever manage to do it now.

People always think I have/have had cool jobs..attending exactly the kind of stuff you mentioned for your bro... but it's far from cool and glamourous trust me!! Unless you are attending purely on a hospitality basis!!!

I have a couple of friends who are cricket journalists which sounds like it'd be awesome but it gets in the way of them enjoying a game.

H is a Personal Trainer and a lot of people think that's quite cool... I have a drama/theatre background and I guess most of my (non-theatre) friends and family thought that was very exciting. Except for the no-money part unless you are very lucky!

Most men think my dad has a cool job - he writes computer games.

I work in an ice rink, that gets quite cool. Sorry.

Same as how people think of my dads job. He runs a brewery!

I once saw an interview with a woman whose job it was to arrange male genitalia for photo shoots, to prevent odd shapes or sticking out bits. She'd worked with Brad Pitt and David Beckham.

That seems like quite a cool job.

As a kid I always wanted to be an air traffic controller although now I'm a proper grown-up I don't think I could handle the pressure and responsibility of it all!

I know someone who is part of the programming team for a very well known computer game company making a very very popular game.

I think my friend has quite a cool job, he flies all over the world to design and make sculptures for companies. He's just come back from Miami where he designed a waterfall to go inside a bank

Another fried is a pilot which I think is pretty cool... Until he almost ended up flying us to Spain and I was suddenly terrified!!

My OH is a filmmaker ? he hasn't really got a specific role that he does, he's done a lot of things, like editing, shooting, sound, general runner work. He worked on a Skindred gig last year (umm they're a band apparently *shrug*), and also was a pretty big part of a documentary film called For Your Tomorrow, about Burma war veterans. Our friend does the same thing, and his Mom owns a wedding shop in Bristol, so they recently made her a promo video for her website (which I was in haha - I'd show it, because I think they did a brilliant job, but I don't want to break the advertising rules).

They're setting up a website/production company at the moment in the hopes that they can basically just take off by themselves ? - and that's another cool job, which my brother has, him and a friend have a little website-making company together.

I'm not a man but i think that's an incredibly cool job!

My dads a paramedic, i think thats a very cool job and i'm very proud of him.

My OH is a croupier and people always tell him that's cool. Personally I don't see what's cool about working with degenerate gamblers 24 hours a day but he makes decent money to get him through uni so that's all that I care about.

I have a friend who is a backing dancer for steps- thats made me quite jealous, another who is a household name in India as the face of Lakme (their equivalent to Rimmel or Maybelline) I feel rather dull in comparison on nights out.

D works for Jaguar-Land Rover and we get to drive all sorts of cool cars. Well he does, I just get to be an over excited passenger. People think its cool when he says he works for Jag.

My friend is in the costume dept at the royal opera house, I think thats pretty cool! (she's also making my W-Dress!!)

Another friend is a reporter for local BBC news. Again, pretty cool especially watching her on tv!!

I work on a reception desk for a well known hairdresser. My family think this is glamorous.

My chief BM has just come back from 3 months as an expedition dive medic in Madagascar, and in a few weeks is off to Borneo to be the expedition doctor for a school/young people's expedition (one of those £3000 gap yah thingies) in Borneo. Much cooler than mine!

My H works for Chelsea football club, most men think thats cool! He is currently on his way to Germany for tonights game whilst im stuck here!
