Corsages for mums

Storky, 14 March, 2011 at 16:28 Posted on Planning 0 12

One of my jobs for this week is to start putting together details of the sort of flowers I want for my florist. I just wondered if anyone wanted to flash the sort of thing they're having for their mums, please.

I want them to be pinned to jackets, rather than worn on a bag or their wrist.

Any inspiration welcome!

Thanks in advance.

Lots of inspiration in the corsage gallery on my website below. All these are artificial flowers but most can be done in fresh too by your florist.

What flowers are you having for your bouquet?

My Mum, Nan, MIL and sisters all had standard white roses and something else that I can't spell ?. Can't find any pictures on my fb so will try and upload one for you later.

    Thanks, ladies.

RaeF - peonies, freesias, roses, lily of the valley and stephanotis. Maybe some herbs, too.

I'd use them for the corsages then (obviously not all of them, that would be huge!); maybe roses and LotV?

Our ladies corsages are being made on magnets to make them more versatile for if mom takes of her jacket etc. also to save pinning them. I thought it was a great idea when the florist suggested it

These were made by the very talented Sherrie.

I have had them made as wrist corsarges.

This is my mums and wanted it to go with her outfit rather than the colour scheme

And this is for mother of groom
