TBH, I've never thought of dresses being for older or younger ladies. It depends what it looks like on YOUR body and how YOU feel in it. I think its lovely though, whatever age you are.

- EXACTLY- too old! Pah, unless its an 'old' dress you will look amazing regardless!

Alot of the bridal stores here is getting me to try dresses on, to see if it is too old looking on me.. They all think lace is for an older woman not for me! Wasnt too sure what to think to be honest.. Im only 21, will be 22 when im getting married

I think the dress is stunning and I don't see why it would be for an older bride!

I think personally the most important thing is how you feel in the dress, if it feels right then its right.

If you are worried, then you should take someone who you trust to tell you their honest opinion and an opinion you trust.

I wouldn't be led too much by the ladies in the shop as they don't know you personally.

I'll be 22 when I get married this year and I have to say the ladies at the dress shop did say (politely) that as I also look very young I should capitalise on that and wear something that reflects my 'youth'. I tried on a very elegant dress which I loved but I think that for me personally, they were right. In the end I have gone with a big princess dress with a bit of bling. I couldn't pull off the elegance of the other dress.

I think the dress you have posted is very pretty but as others have said, we need to see it on you to really judge!

I too tried this dress on when shopping for my dress and it was absolutely stunning. The only reason I didn't go for it was because I found on in the shape that I wanted but this would have been my second choice. I don't think it aged me at all! I'm 25. xx

I think it is beautiful; very elegant. As long as you feel good in it it then it doesnt matter whether it is and 'old' dress! Although like everyone else I didnt think dresses were made for older or younger brides!

I don't think age should be a factor when choosing a dress- it's whatever you feel good in and what suits you x

I think its lovely :-) you should get whatever suits your shape and what you feel most comfortable in. I also think it depends on how you accessorize and how you wear your hair. Big statement headbands or hairclips can make a dress look younger, pearls make a dress look more elegant etc so just go for what suits you. If you're not 100% sure then keep trying on more dresses as you'll know when you find the 'one' as you'll be thinking about it all the time and can't wait to try it on again x
