Cruise for honeymoon?

We were thinking of something similar as OH doesn't like flying so will be interesting to hear what people have got to say. xx

Hi Kaz I think a cruise is a great idea, it's got to be something really special. We went to Thailand for ours, and stayed in an amazing place we wouldn't normally have considered. Just a suggestion to help with the costs, I used www.wedlists.com which allowed me to break down the costs into small chunks and have my guests feel they were contributing towards a specific part of the cost of the honeymoon - with Wedlists there's a small upfront fee but then you get the money immediately paid into your PayPal account so no worries about security etc. I wasn't keen to use a conventional list where they keep the gifts or money because I'd heard of some going under and taking the money with them. My parents have done a few med cruises and have a fab time. Not sure what companies they go with, but they love them.

We are going on a cruise in May with our one year old as I said to H2B that if we stayed in a hotel or a villa then for me, it would be a busmans holiday! I would still be doing all the same things but in a different country...so not at all relaxing!

We thought on a cruise, we would get to have a good base with lots to do but then see lots of different places as well. Perfecto!

We looked in to it a lot and we are going around the Med from Southampton on the Oceana which is with P&O. Apparently its great for kids...
