CSI Fans

Flow's US sitcom thread reminded me that I saw an advert last ngiht for the final series of CSI Miami! HURRRARRRAAHH!

I have never like Miami and Horatio does my head in!

Ive never thought it was as popular as Vegas or New York so I wonder if this is why it is comming to an end?!

While I have your attention, what do you think of Ted Danson in Vegas? I quite like him. not sure about the new blood expert though but I like how they are teasing us with their past. I think the obvious is that they have had an affair but I wouldnt be surprised if they are brother and sister! What do you think?!

I always liked Vegas the most. I didn't like Miami at first because I didn't like Calleigh, but she grew on me and I quite like Miami now. I'm not completely up to date with Vegas at the moment so I don't think I've seen the new blood expert yet but I do quite like Ted Danson, no one lives up to Gil Grissom though!

Agreed on both counts. Miami/Horatio pants, Danson good.

Miami is my least favourite of the 3 but I still watch it. I knew the American network were going to cancel either Miami or NY, and apparently it was widely thought NY would be the one to go but I was thrilled when it wasn't. I had huge doubts about Ted Danson when he was announced as having joined the cast but I like him, he's better than Laurence Fishburn.

Vegas will always be the original and the best! Ive never got on with Miami so have never really watched it!

I agree that no one can replace Gil which is why i dont think i took to Fishburne much but I like Ted! ?

I really like NY(I heart Don!) but i havent been totally upto date on the last series. Stella irritated mea bit so i was glad when she went but I havent warmed to the new bird yet!

Ha Ha, I love how much he irritates everyone!!!

it doesnt help that every episode seems to begin with a body, H saying something "smart" slowly putting on his sunglasses in time for the theme tune!

That is normally as far as i can get before switching over!!

Don't like Miami, too cheesy always rich socialites and kidnaps and murders, it was getting too predictable IMO.

I used to love Vegas, found it got a bit samey too, storyline wise.

I have loved NY from the start (Danny and Don yes please!!) I find it has the best mix of story lines, cast stories and some humour, which I found Vegas lost quite early on.

Exactly this for me...although Vegas hasn't been the same since Grissom went. I think my issue with New York is that the main guy (can't remember his name) is the bad guy in Ransom...for years I've been waiting for him to turn out to be a baddie!

I think Mac is great! I can't help but refer to Don as 'Tag' (as in Friends) when talking about the show to H (who doesn't watch it and has very little interest in it, so I don't even know why I bother...)

exactly this! he thinks he's all that! Apparently mum and dad switched off NYPD when it was on because he was in it (doing the same there too) he was in there before CSI and they refused to watch Miami one because he's in it.

I still miss Warrick! Not that any of his former colleagues seem to remember him. It really bothers me in programs when someone leaves and people just seem to forget about them. I get too attached.

OH once told me that I'd said 'print it the other way Nick' in my sleep. I think maybe that means I watch too much.
