I would say think about the number of people, how much of a budget you wouldnt mind spending.

i have been to a few weddings with cup cakes and they are cute, very pretty

    good choice!

I'm having cupcakes and a larger cake to cut to give our guests the option of having one or the other. my sister and mum are making those and my SIL is making the larger cake. I was thinking about one cupcake each for the all the guests

We are having 40 cupcakes plus a 6'' top tier cake (so we can still do the cutting thing) for 50 people which is costing £165 x

I asked about this in the shop the other day and could get a top cake and 60 cup cakes for £119 plus charge of stand hire, i guess it depends the decorations on the cupcakes and on how many guests your having and how many the top cake (if your having one) will cut into. i'd say find something you like and take the picture into the cake shop and see what they can do.

We're having cupcakes too! We have about 70 guests and will probably have 100 cupcakes as we're having a mixture of mini ones and regular sized ones. We were thinking of going with M&S cupcakes as they work out at 75p and 45p each, but we're a bit limited on colours then. So now we might go with http://www.suffolkcupcakes.co.uk/ as they're not too expensive and i really love their designs.
