I can't say I'm that surprised- some venues are incredibly snobby..... they made the right call in not booking the venue in question...

I have filmed at this venue and know the wedding coordinator Michelle. Firstly it is a very smart place and I'm sure it's part of Michelle's job to keep an eye on the type of weddings they take on. I have no idea what this couple are like other than newspaper talk which you can never rely on but obviously Michelle was uncomfortable with them and would not be doing her job if she hadn't informed her manager about it. It's not snobbery just common sense if you're running a business. Michelle made a big mistake with the e-mail (and we all make mistakes) but I can assure you she is a lovely lady who most brides would love to deal with and I do hope she is given a second chance with this.

I actually feel very sorry for the wedding coordinator.

I'm pretty sure she would have been instructed to run the wedding bookings this way.

To be honest, I feel sorry for the coordinator. Everyone makes mistakes and I know I have sent emails or text messages to the wrong people in the past, it may not have got me in to this kind of trouble but it shows that mistakes happen.

I tend to go on my gut instinct and I imagine the coordinator did too and perhaps she was correct as it turns out that they may not be as 'clean living' as they are trying to make themselves out to be. I am sure that someone higher up has told her to filter the kind of people who have functions there (hence why the email was asking for advice on how to put them off).

Mistakes happen, she has apoligised. I hope that this couple haven't brought this to the press's attention for the sake of money as I am sure the coordinator is mortified.

Perhaps the b2b has a film coming out that she's trying to raise publicity for?!

I think you make some good points Barry- its likely that the co-ordinator is really the scape goat for all this..
