So we have decided on a venue, and although we can't marry in our university chapel on a Friday, we are marrying in the church in the parish where I grew up. Venue is penciled in and am dropping the deposit over to the vicar next week. Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly, but in my excitment, I thought I'd give a wee flash.

    We had our works xmas party at Great Fosters last year. Its beautiful, the food was brilliant and the staff were really friendly ?

    I thought it was Great Fosters! I went to my friend's wedding there a couple of weeks ago and it is absolutely stunning. Congrats on (almost) setting a date.

    That church is beautiful - I love the beams and the chandeliers, it's just lovely. Another Hitcher is getting married at Great Fosters - I actually think she may recently have got married, I can't remember. Her name's Filoftus
