FFIL has just offered to pay for the whole wedding package that we have chosen abroad!! Plus my parents gave me a cheque last week, my nan has offered to buy my dress and H2B mum has offered money and so has his nan, when they find out the others have already given they will too! Can't believe how lucky we are.. so no need to look around for everything on the cheap! Smiley laugh

We can't believe it! We started planning the wedding not expecting anything so we planned to keep costs down.. but now we can stay in a much nicer hotel in Turkey and not worry about how much it is going to cost as much! We're going to make a new spreadsheet over the weekend and we are now thinking we may actually have some money left over! ? Still on the hunt for bargins and saving money.. the more we save the more we will have towards our house deposit! (I suppose we should grow up and buy one sooner or later! ?)

    Thats lovely!

There's been a couple of posts like this in the last week - people are so nice!!!

Perhaps this is the start of a movement of RAK???

RAK is indeed random acts of kindness - you'll sometimes see rahk - random acts of hitcher kindness.

I think that a couple of years back a guy was trying to encourage the idea that if something nice happened to you, you made something nice happen to someone else - and this could be a complete stranger. Wouldn't that be nice instead of all the cr** that we're all currently hearing/experiencing?

? just read that back and it sounds a little 'um (naughty!) But I hope you see what I mean?
