December?Winter weddings

Im getting married in november and am buying my bridesmaids wraps but not shrugs and have brought there shoes, I have never even thought about them having a handbag (not sure what they really need to bring to the church to warrent having one?) Cant what ever they do need to bring be given to someone else to look after or left in a car till the reception when they will need money etc?

We're getting married in February and I hadn't even thought of handbags. May get them shrugs but they won't be going outside.

How many Bridesmaids are you having? I have 4 ivory faux fur shawls that i bought for my bridesmaids for my wedding last year. If your interested i'd be happy to sell them

I never bought my BM's bags. I bought them all a pair of shoes each that they liked.

Why does a Bridesmaid need a handbag anyway? What would be in it? - I've been a bridesmaid and never had one. To be honest I think they are more of hassle than not having one.

We've covered a few winter weddings where the bride & bridesmaids haven't had shrugs, and they've always been so cold for the group photos even when we've done them super quickly. Worth getting them something (& for yourself) if your budget will stretch.

Well i paid £10 for each, and given that they've been worn, i'd be willing to sell them for £8 each. - £30 the lot! Free P+P!

My shawl was a little more expensive though. But i'm a bit sentimental, so i won't be selling it as my mummy bought me it.

I bought my bridesmaids handbags... They were just little clutches for their lipgloss, phones, moneys etc. They didnt carry them down the aisle or anything they just used them in the evening I think. You dont have to though!
