Have just given away a rather large amount of money for a new flat ?

Where do you ladies get your decorating ideas from? This is the first time I actually have free-range to decorate a place*. I have Pinterest, but where can I get images from? Can you recommend any decent websites/blogs with lovely homes to drool over?

* except for when I was a teenager and elected to paint my walls shocking orange and let my friends write marker-pen messages on them. My parents have saintly patience.

My living room is almost an exact copy of one I saw in the homebase brochure when we bought the house. get hold furniture and decorating shop brouchures as they always show things in situ which helps inspire ideas.

Home shows on TV too are good.

I mostly just google image ideas that I have...

My pinterest is full of lovely ideas but the site is blocked from work... booo

My room as a teenager was dark glossy purple!

Pinterest for me too, and shops and online stores. Never copy anything directly but get ideas and alter to suit! On Pinterest I think you can click on category and there should be a home ideas one or somthing. I never actually pin anything I find on websites on Pinterest, just re-pin things I see through searching other's boards!

I get a lot of my pinterest ideas from repinning. I also photograph things in shops and upload them to Pinterest.

I too have replaced wedding with house magazines!
