Hiya,
EVERYBODY i asked to keep any glass jars that they get through like cooking sauces etc. for so that I could put candles in them and decorate them for decor for the wedding they looked at me like I'd lost the plot!! But my Mum humored me and did what i asked and was very pleased with the result!! Lovely decorations for next to nothing!!
Need to tweek it a bit as it needs a longer candle I think but I love it. There's gonna be lots of them just placed around the rooms with scented candles and the coloured sleeves are gonna have different patterns on them and will be pink, white and this green colour.
Next I told my Mum that I wanted some cute cardboard baskets for the FG's to carry and she knocked this one up in minutes!!
This one is just done with cheap, scrap card that my Mum had lying around but it kinda gives the idea. It'll be done with much better quality card, pink and green and will be a lot prettier and it will have little flowers inside.
What do you think???
Also just thought I'd flash this as I was flashing the other two.
I have made a start at our sweet buffet. I went to my local 99p shop and bought 6 bags of strawberry bon bons!! So I got a kilo and a half of sweets for just under £6. They've got a really good date on them too so they wont go off before the wedding!!
