Deleting posts

How often do you type something out on here and then delete before posting?

I find I'm doing this increasingly more often!

Often because my posts usually contain effs and jeffs so I have to either rewrite or delete. My vocal is limited. Lol.

Im finding that I am doing this too. Purely because of how sensitive people have been recently.

I dont know but maybe its putting a few newbies of posting as much...and I am one of those newbies

I do actually. I type something, then think, "Actually no, that looks bad" so leave it!

I quite often start something then realise that I'm being a miserable cowbag, and nobody really wants to read that!

Ashamed to admit that I do this all too often. Just not comfortable being myself on this forum anymore. In case it's not mod-worthy or in case someone takes offence, or in case someone gets moody and snaps at me or tells me I'm a horrible person and something awful should happen to me for my opinions or way of life....

Folowing on from yesterdays shameful travesty, I think some on here should censor themselves a lot more, and realise the consequences of their actions. There is way too much bitchiness, & mud slinging. This is especially evident from a small group of people, all who have a pseudonym, all who feel out of range and have nothing to loose. Some seem to delight in just stirring things, and don't think at all what the consequences are

Thinking about the consequences - some on here are really sensitive & emotional - why should people bulldoze over their emotions and effectively drive them away... that sends out a nice message (not), and discourages new members who see the posts and decide this place isn't for them

And then there are the posts openly criticising HIB's who unfortunately can't hide behind a pseudonym as they are openly stating who they are and what their business is.. Plenty of times a "rumour" has turned into a witch hunt.. and what's the real consequences of that - lots of tears, and no food on the table for some family somewhere

On the subject of advertisers... I would hazard a guess and say that without the revenue that HIB's & advertisers pay, there wouldn't be a Hitched.

Sometimes over the years I have looked at a thread and thought... this is a wedding forum, and we are all supposed to be grown ups etc ...

It's actually quite therapeutic to type 'grow up you whinging cow' or 'stop being a bridezilla' just to get it off your chest, then delete it. It's like writing a letter and not sending it.

    EWSS.

I have found myself posting less and less on this forum especially after being reported numerous times by a user....

I'm glad i'm not the only one who does that. I've gone to say things then thought 'better not. i'll get reported because i've hurt someones feelings because they've taken what i've said the wrong way.'
