delivery time from play.com

We normally get an e-mail when it has been sent out. We got all of our stuff from play within a few days, but we ordered it back in November before the 'rush'. Could you give them a call/email and ask what's happening? Do they show as still in stock on the website?

Play are normally very quick with their delivery, but it is Christmas and I am waiting for something still that was posted on the 4th, you could send them an email to make sure it was despatched ok

Play usually change the status to posted when they send it out so they probably haven't

Lol NickJ that isnt grumpy thats just stating the obvious I have cancelled it - I can pick the same thing up from Bluewater tonight and know I have it wrapped for tomorrow.

I really need the space pen to be home when I get there though ?

I had this with play recently - I ordered something at the end of October and it just kept saying on order. I called them once to be told that they were waiting for stocks from supplier (it was a book that had only recently been released) and to wait a few more days. I called a second time and was told that they would take it up with the despatch department as they definitely had it in stock and to give in another few days. I called a third time and finally got someone with some sense who told me that they were having trouble with their delivery system picking up details from the ordering system and to cancel the order and then re-order the item.

To get to this point took the best part of a month, but once I'd cancelled and re-ordered it arrived within 3-4 days.

Probably not what you want to hear though ....

I did indeed ? Thank you ? I ordered it on their official site, was emailed to say it was despatched on the 5th, the payment has gone out so I am hoping it will arrive but will check smiths website encase its not there when I get home and will then have to return it if it arrives later x
