Dessert table

What cakes would be ok for a dessert table - i.e. can be left out on a table for hours without going 'funny'. Thanks!

    I'm having things like shortbread biscuits, cake pops, brownies, croquembouche, macaroons, and the cupcake tower with just a plain cake to cut.

    I'm also having cone cupcakes for the kids; you can bake cupcake mix in ice cream cones (the flat-bottomed ones) and then use frosting to make the cream swirl on top, topped with sprinkles. Smiley smile
