Diaries/Journals

Pompey, 6 August, 2011 at 13:18 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 2

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone else keeps a diary? I have since I was a child and try to write in it everyday. I also stick pictures/cards and things in it as I come across things I like.

OH's Grandpa kept a diary daily and it really helped him when the demensia/altzheimers started to get bad.

I don't have a diary, never had one. I've always been too paranoid about people reading it.

I have a book I stick things in though, and I occasionally write stuff in there, but hide it among song lyrics. That way, i can pass it off as lyrics, and not my own words.

I've got about 5 books, full of cuttings, writing etc. I'm sure if a professional got their hands on them i'd be locked up for my own safety. ?

Just popped over here from BT. I used to keep a diary and had about 7 years worth but when I got married I decided it was time to get rid so I gave them to my mum who promised she wouldnt read them and she burnt them for me. There was a lot of stuff in there I didnt want anyone else to read. Things that ex's used to write in for me etc. Good to look back on and laugh but thought it wasnt wise x

My other diaries I would never want anyone to read and they were destroyed when I moved in with OH. The one I have now, there is nothing in there that I wouldn't want other people to read. Its more of a daily record of my life.
