Did you take anyone with you when you tried your dress on?

Entirely up to you! I took my 2 bridesmaids - though they looked throughly bored by the end ? (one hungover, one sufferening with all day morning sickness).

I'm going back in December with my Mam (she lives up North, i'm down South).

I took my mum mainly but on one occassion, I had two of my flower girls turning up so there was myself, my mum, my MIL2B, my sister, her little girl, my brother and SIL and their little girl and my OH and FIL2B were waiting in the entrance too!

ETA: the flower girls were trying on their dresses to make sure it went with mine and the PIL2B had turned up at ours just before I left for the dress shop which is why they came along too - I didn't just want to take a circus with me!

Chose my dress in the first shop I went to and keep going back to try the sample on coz I ove it so much...so, 1st time MOH, 2nd time big sister, 3rd time friend, 4th, 5th ......just me!

You can take who you like!! just keep an open mind about all styles and try them all on even if you think they wil look crap......you never know....it could be the one!

I took my mum and my two bridesmaids. They all really wanted to go so I wouldn't have left any of them out. Originally I was just going to go with one of my bridesmaids, but I knew I would have to go back with my mum and my other bridesmaid to let them see the dress anyway so we just all went! x

I just took my CBM, but that's only because my mum doesn't live nearby, if she did then her and my sister would have come too.

I wanted to take lots but struggled to scrape people to together so went with one at time. Then they seemed to get bored and I get fed up as I couldnt find the right dress, so gave up and went alone, and thats when i found the one! so then took mum and sis back for second opinion. I was also advised not to take more than two as you get too many opinions.

I took 3 because I didn't want to leave anybody out. It was my mum and my 2 BMs - my sis and a friend.

The only thing I would say is that I felt everybody had such different tastes that there was a difference of opinions a lot of the time which made it more difficult.

First time i went to try dresses on my sister dragged me into town with my mum, after 3 shops i got the impression that they were bored (i must admit i'd find it boring watching someone else trying on lots of things) and called it a day. I eventually went to try dresses on by myself and found that experiance to be much better just me and the lady in the shop and no pressures to make a choice there and then.

I went by myself ☹️ but I think I'm a very small minority. I really wish I'd been able to take someone with me

TBH if I was to do it again I would go myself but I don't think my mum would ever forgive me if I did that...lol

I took my mum and H2Bs mum, it was great having them both there to recomend dresses. It was really special as I get along really well with his Mum too.

I took my 2 BMs the second time.
