Ding dong.... Avon calling

MummyMoo82, 29 September, 2014 at 13:35 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 4

So, I have, on a whim, signed up to be an Avon lady. It's never going to make millions, or thousands, or much at all from what I can gather, but it's manageable around my Little Ones, plus the door-to-door bit is around where I live, where I take my dog/pushchair out anyway.

I haven't really mentioned it to many friends yet. Not sure what they'd think. I don't want to be pushy-selly iykwim.

I also now feel like I have become the person I never thought I'd be.

Can I have my twenties back please?

Nothing wrong with being an Avon lady, as long as you don't expect to become a millionaire overnight Smiley winking it's a nice way to do a bit of walking, get to know your neighbours and have a few spare pennies Smiley smile

I have always quite liked the idea of being an Avon lady! I used to love getting the Avon catalog through the post too when I lived in the city, but I don't get it where I live now Smiley sad

Thanks people. I've set doing the main drop/collections when my eldest is at nursery so I can get a good walk with the pushchair and dog (if she can be bothered). Seems to be going ok so far, to be honest, I think the person who will order the most will be me! I just tried the magnetic metallic nail varnish in my first order and it's amazing. I can see myself getting alsorts of new makeup etc!
