I just had really really spicy chilli cooked by H2b. I'm not very well so I think he made it extra hot in the hope that it'll burn off whatever it is I have!

Either that...or he wants to finish me off...because it was honestly really too spicy for me!

A variation on this but with steamed broccoli instead of spinach and pinenuts instead of hazelnuts.

A seriously lardy pasta dish, with a creamy, mustardy sauce, with trout and mange tout.

it was ?, especially as it was pretty improvised as i has one trout fillet and some rather elderly mange tout to use up

H is back from Oz and in his rightful place in the kitchen! ? He's making a gluten-free pizza base and I think we're having seafood on it. With oven chips and coleslaw I understand. Fab.

it's fab, isn't it? i only just found it but am well impressed so far. the recipes all look scrummy. we had the oven baked BNS risotto t'other day, which was really good, and i'm planning on doing the chestnut soup sometime soon.

We have just had chicken pie with runner beans from MIL's garden. Chicken pie was made with left over hicken and scallop potatoes rather than pastry - I have eaten way too much of it though and feel rather sick now! Need some chocolate!
