Dinner thread

I see from the dumplings thread that some of you are having stew tonight (yum). Well, by child's request, we are having pasta with spinach, cheese and...hot dog sausages ? So, beguile me with your more masterful dishes (if you have them!)...

Your tea sounds more exciting than mine. If I have any it is likely to be either tinned Ravioli, or tinned Macaroni Cheese or toast. That should make you feel postively Dometic Goddess-esque about yours.

    Stew and dumplings sounds heaven

We're having the leftover game casserole from yesterday, i have been unsure all day as to whether i will be making it inot a suet crust pie or throwing some dumplings in. the dumpling thread may be influencial in my final decision making.

A short while ago I had a cup a soup (minestrone) and then crackers and jam I'm still hungry though and knowing me will carry on grazing all night. I've not got any bread at the mo' otherwise I'd have toast. I might cook a pasta bake then I can have leftovers for tea tomorrow otherwise it's spaghetti and sausages out of a tin. I have the most shocking diet ever.

We're having something I saw in The Times mag at the weekend - Gordon Ramsey's lamb cobbler topped with cheese scones, served with braised cabbage.

    Yum deluxe.

Last night I made chicken breasts stuffed with fontina cheese and wrapped in parma ham, gently poached in white wine, served with mustard mash. I read an article about how much food we have in our freezers and how much we all waste, so decided to make an effort and try and empty it!

Tonight I couldnt be ar$ed and went to the pub for fish and chips with friends! Simply gorgeous.
