Not sure, I have some sausages in the fridge and have found a recipe for sausage and red lentil casserole so may give that a go. Or it may be beans on toast if i'm too hungry to wait for it to cook.

I was going to have roasted veg, cous cous and chickpeas with salad but the MIL has been rushed to hospital and Mr S is trying to persuade me that he deserves some Domino's comfort food.

Like SLD possibly spag bol which is my fave meal ever. Or I am making my first chicken and mushroom pie with leftover roast chicken so we may have that. I am a tool I am making the pastry from scratch too, so it could all go wrong.

After yesterday's lard fest Pizza Hut, I am going to be good with baked salmon, boiled potato & veg. Probably carrots, PSB and leeks.

However, my H is always hungry after a healthy dinner (and we're both doing yoga tonight before we eat) so will probably make him a comforting crumble. I might have to try ti too, just to make sure it's OK...

Chicken & salad in tortilla wraps here. I'm just debating whether to marinade the chicken in hot'n'spicy sauce or breadcrumb it and make a kind of faux KFC zinger type thing (but nicer!)

I've never had pilaf before but this sounds lush! I love sultanas in a mildly spicy sauce, if its easy to do, may I please have your recipe?

Some Pork Roast thing from asda stuffed with mushroom and bacon, bought the day it went out of date and frozen on the day. Taken out yesterday and left to defrost all day. Was supposed to be eaten last night but was too pished after going to see Scotland fall at the hands of the Welsh at Murrayfield.

Will probably get food poisoning or similar.

Soften a red onion in a little oil in a casserole dish with 1tsp of tumeric. Add a few handfuls of sultanas and a couple of chicken thighs/legs. When the chicken has browned a bit, take off the heat, add as much rice as you like (I do four cups) and mix it all in. Cover in stock, put the lid on and bung in the oven for half an hour or so on a high heat (check every now and then to top up with stock). When it comes out, I stir through some frozen peas - they get cooked by the heat. Serve with some fresh coriander stirred through.

You don't get a sauce per se, but it's very moist.
