Dinner thread

Not sure, either i'll chuck some more veg into some veal ragu and make a sort of bolognese or we'll be having leftover root vegetable tagine. I'd prefer some meat, but i reckon the husband will request the spicy option

The decision has been made. I'm having one paltry slice of Mr S's tasty tasty stuffed crust Pizza Hut pizza with a huge salad. (trying desperastely not to fall off the dieting wagon spectacularly). Then I will be sharing (probably eating most of) his warm cookie dough and ice cream (therefore cancelling out my salady goodness).

All the wilting old bits of veg from last week's shop from the bottom of the fridge cooked up with tinned tomatoes and Patak's madras paste vegetable curry and rice.

I must dig the car out some day soon and do a shop ?

I am making Thai roast chicken with mango & apple salad and sticky coconut rice. From March's Good Food magazine.

Hey - I did the Jamie O roast shoulder of pork yesterday. Gawd it was good. 'Spensive though, but fed 4 adults and 4 children handsomely with plenty left over to chuck into a stir fry or something tomorrow. Actually, it was £20. I guess a forerib of beef to feed the same number would be astronomically expensive compared to that.
