    If you pop in your details here http://weddingdjalliance.co.uk/wedding_dj_kent.php and here https://mobiledjdisco.co.uk/mobile_disco_kent.html you'll have a massive choice. The guys will send you their details and you can short list at your leisure. The difference between the two sites is the members of the wedding dj Alliance have all been approved and tend to be top of their game, so their fee reflects this.

    Then this page gives you some guidance on choosing the right one for your remit http://www.weddingdjalliance.co.uk/selecting_a_wedding_dj.php

    Hope that helps. I'm on here every day (proverbial bad penny!) if you want any further advice.... just ask away!

    It sounds like you're looking for recommendations, rather than a list of unknown DJs?

    Recommendations is a fair good way of finding someone "good". They may not have the style you're looking for, but they should have provided a good service.

    As with all services, a phone call is a good way to judge if they are right for you. Emails are great for facts/figures, but a 5min chat will be of better value.

    Also, if you're looking to get quotes very early on, I suggest providing all the information you can - so set-up time, start of music, end of music, any access difficulties (ie 2nd floor, no lift!) or no parking etc.

    I can cover Kent, and would be happy for you to call me for a chat, either as a potential DJ for your Wedding, or simply to get a feel of how many DJ's work.

    Back to lists...

    There is a good selection on the following pages;

    http://mobiledjnetwork.co.uk/mobile-dj-kent.html

    http://seda-online.com/djs/?areaid=20

    All of these DJ's will have Public Liability Insurnance, and most will have PAT tested equipment, a requirement of many venues.

    One thing to consider, there are various types of DJ's, some specialise in club and bars, others more family entertainment. Before you call anyone, think about what you want from them, and ask questions to ensure they have experience providing this type of party.

    All the best,

    Jason

    Just getting back online after a week away, have heard about one DJ based Canterbury way - he's actually my mums friend son but seems to be pretty busymost of the time. Will find out contact details for you as soon as I can.
