sarahc94, 1 June, 2009 at 21:07 Posted on Planning 0 6

Hey,

The theme me and h2b r considering having is a disney/fairytale/princess theme. We r looking for ideas to help. We dont want it to go over the top just a few nice things. Do you think we could manage to mix these themes together easily?

Any ideas??

thanks

Yes, i have a horse and carriage booked already!

i have red bridesmaids so would want 2 tie that in somewhere, trying 2 stick with the princess/fairytale themes with added bits of disney without getting 2 carried away Smiley smile

My cousin had a fairytale castle as her cake - it was really well done actually. Also, how about naming the top table 'happily ever after'?

You could name your tables after fairytale couples - if there are enough.

    Hi sarah

I was confused for a minute them as I thought I had replied and then realised it was on a different forum.

What more can I think of, I mentioned tables although you could do disney couples rather than just characters, mentioned invitations and favours.

Perhaps a disney themed princess cake with cinderella and prince charming on top. Or you can incorporate colours into the wedding. Not sure if you have picked yet but instead of it being obviously disney you could have yellow and blue on the tables for snow white or pale pinks for cinderella, which would not be obvious but keeps to the theme.

Will be back later with some more
