Divorce question

Jools73, 29 November, 2008 at 19:53 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 5

My decree nisi was issued over a year ago my solicitor didn't apply for the absolute until financial stuff was sorted out. Now it's all sorted she's submitted the nisi again to the court and applied for the absolute.

How long now, before it's all over?

2 weeks usually from application to being granted. I am just on the countdown to be able to apply for my absolute myself...I think I can apply in a week or 2.

I think this is the bit that takes 6 weeks and a day.

It's 6 weeks and a day from the nisi until you can apply for absolute.

The cheques I wrote for the courts all cleared a week ago, so I suppose anything up to two weeks, so hopefully before Christmas!!! Woohooo...
