Wow I'm impressed that must have taken you ages! I'm planning on doing some DIY but the invitations are taking so long I don't know how much I'll do. I love the boxs, might have to steal that idea ?

All looks lovely. I am trying to finish a PhD and also work and teach! So I would love some DIY tips and ideas that are not too time consuming if that makes sense? Small budget and no time are not a great mix tbh!

Where do you get all your craft supplies? And can I ask where you got the boxes?

You've done so well, how on earth have you managed to fit it in ?

The gift boxes in particular are lovely. I love the silky flower.

    Well done you!

Bekkijane - people dont realise how much time goes into majorettes unless they are part of it!

Thank you everyone, the boxes are from the range, were only a couple of pound for 2.

i get most of my bits from either ebay or the range

I'm currently doing some DIY decorations. I'm making bunting and it is proving VERY time consuming to draw and cut out all the triangles of fabric!

I've started making origami invitations and am also planning on making origami flowers and favors.

Invites will be as the below but orange.

    I'm DIYing:

*1,000 origami cranes, which I'm going to use to decorate the ceremony room and maybe on the cake as well.
    *Table plan
    *Table numbers and placecards
*Order of the day (basic 1-side sheet explaining timings & with a few thank you notes)
*Some of the centrepieces - basically, I'm having Japanese ikebana-style arrangements, inspired by various animes and games that we love. I'm going to collect the containers, then meet with the florist to agree what she is going to do and what bits I can do myself.

So far, I've got about halfway through making the cranes, and I've designed pretty much all of the table numbers and the table plan.
