DIY Bookfold invitation help please

Mrsdsoon, 29 September, 2013 at 12:54 Posted on Planning 0 1

Can anyone help me please.

I am planning on ordering from PDA Card and craft the 145mm flapless bookfold invitation. My plan is to have the invite on the left as you open it, then the details in the pocket bit.

But what size inserts do i order ? or could i just print and cut to size on decent heavy duty paper ?

Can anyone that has done them please point me in the direction of a template for the sizes ?

thank you for any advice im starting to get stressed now Smiley sad

Hullo, I got all my card and envelopes from pocket fold invites - they supply all the templates too. In reality though if you know the size of your pocket, just make a "custom paper size" in your word processing programme, and go for it. The stock card I bought was about 4-5mm narrower than the outer dimension of the pocket.

I hope this helps - but if you need more (making the template etc) then just bug me, I find that kind of thing fairly easy.

Hey, sounds like I'm doing exactly the same as you. I'm doing the inserts myself and just resizing them to fit in the pockets. That way I can have as many inserts as I like, and can have them in different sizes if I want!
