Yep, I'm doing one myself. Got all my jars from another Hitcher and am gonna buy my sweets off eBay/other online stores. Like any ordinary buffet, once it's gone, it's gone.

I'm also having one but I'm not going to be re-filling throughout the night. I've got to buy a few more bowls etc.

I'll be doing one my mum works in an old fashioned sweet shop so it will be expected, she did one for my cousin last year and it went down a treat (hehe no pun intended), turned everyone into kids again, squabbling over freddies and hubba bubba! My cousin didnt need to re-fill hers as people didnt want to look like they were being greedy, some (me) took two bags worth and others only a few sweets each! You could always have a bm/usher/guest keep an eye on it and top it up for you!

Im doing a DIY one. Bought containters from Ikea and got some brilliant ones very cheaply. Im putting them on a white table cloth which will have some clear fairy lights and then some organza material to match the colour scheme over the top. Including sweets Ive done it all for just over £100. A wonderful friend is keeping it topped up for me. x

We're doing our own too - our mum's have been collecting glass/crystal vintage bowls for us to fill and we will be going to costco and buying a load of wholesale packs of sweets. We won't be refilling it as there will be a lot in the bowls already. We're getting the bags and scoops off ebay - we've VERY excited as we both have a massive sweet tooth!

I've got lots of images for inspiration on my pinterest: http://pinterest.com/lyla_rose/sweet-table-ideas/

We're thinking of doing sweetie jar centrepieces, meaning that we don't have to pay out for expensive floral displays & they'll serve as wedding favours along with personalized sweetie bags!! Obviously it'll mean shedloads of jars & bowls but we're planning on car booting them afterwards : )

I'm doing one. I haven't got masses, only 6 jars of sweets and a basket of celebrations. Again once they are gone they are gone!

I have borrowed the jars off of a friend and the sweets I got from Amazon.

I'm doing it myself! I don't plan to refill it at all, tbh. I plan to just have whats on offer and whe nit runs out it runs out! I do plan to have lots there, though, and lots and lots of jars, all different, all charity shop crockery finds Smiley smile

I've brought / borrowed various large glass vases / dishes / bowls

I'm actually feeling a bit down in that I'm sure loads will be left over, rather than refilling them because they are all such nice large containers.

But now I see your post I'd rather have that, than keep needing them refilled. x
