DIY table number inserts - help :)

2016bride88, 26 April, 2014 at 12:55 Posted on Planning 0 4

Hi ladies, I've got 15 toslby frames to put my table numbers in but would rather print them myself. Could anyone recommend maybe a free download I can get Smiley smile please?.

i also need advice on where to print a poster print for a frame I have that will have a 'pick a seat not a side' print in it. The frame I have is 47cm x 67cm which suggests a poster size?

I'm pretty clueless at DIY printing so any advice would be great? Smiley smile

thanks! Xx

I have no idea what toslby frames are, but I know that I've just printed lots of our wedding related stuff (including table name / number signs) as photo prints.

Designed them, saved them, uploaded to a photo print website, and printed them as glossy photos.

When I signed up for a Tesco Photo account online, it gave me 50 free 6 inch by 4 inch prints. Whilst I didn't deliberately do this to make all by wedding decor on the cheap, it has meant that I've ended up printing everything in gloss, without it costing me a penny, or wearing out my own printer ink cartridges! If you want them larger, it's only about 15p a print.

I have the same issue as you about printing the bigger signs, and was planning on uploading online, and collecting from my local Staples store as a print out of the correct size. Being that my home printer is only A4.

    Hope that helps

I just googled Toslby frames, and haha, they're 6 by 4 inch. Didn't I just give you some awesome advice for free printing then!

If it helps, I did my 6 by 4 designs on MS Powerpoint, as you can set the slide to be exactly the correct size. When done, you then have to re-save the Powerpoint as 'JPEG', which will make each slide into a separate JPEG file, to upload to a photo printing website.

Brilliant. Thanks ladies you have inspired me to get my table names sorted.

We did our own invitations as record sleeves and got them printed locally. You can pretty much get any size printed and choose which paper you would like.

i am going back to get my table plan printed onto a poster like this

But you can get them printed online as well if you upload your file. It's pretty cheap to do.

Love that design Surfer dude. Very snazzy. Would be staring at that in awe for quite some time if I found it at a wedding I went to!
