DJ prices

ExpensiveGreenStationery893, 31 August, 2017 at 20:40 Posted on Planning 0 2

Hi all

We are getting married in June 19 but being the ultra organised person I am I am already researching!

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me a rough average price for a DJ? Our venue can provide a DJ who looks very good however I want to make sure we are not paying too much

Any help or advise would be appreciated!

Thanks all Smiley smile

Prices I've got have all been around £350-400, however that's in London so may be more inflated than other areas

Don't worry, I'm super organised too and have got pretty much all of the big things booked still with 12 months to go! Smiley smile I like to plan ahead!

I think DJ's vary, and it depends what is local to you and what is available. When I did my research, I found that most DJ's in my area are around £300+ for weddings. Our DJ was going to charge £450 but after a little sweet talk, managed to get it down to £375. You just need to have a look around and do your research on prices / reviews etc.

It might also help asking friends or family if they know any DJ's that are good and reasonably priced?

    Good luck!

I think about £250 to £500 is a usual price range. Be mindful that they vary a lot in their setup and lighting. DJ's don't just play music, they can dramatically affect the look of the room as well.
