Do Allied Carpets do finance (would love 0% too!!!)

policefox lyn, 26 April, 2009 at 22:00 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0

We have a rather large 4 bedroomed house which is about 8yrs old. The carpets upstairs are the original ones from when the house was built (I assume) and they really need replacing. Unfortunately we don't have the money to do it, though we have good credit ratings etc. I was wondering if any of the big carpet places do finance. On the carpet right site I could see that they don't but there's no mention on Allied, which is making me think that they probably don't either.

Are there any big chain carpet places that do?

Otherwise we'll probably do it on credit card and then transfer to a 0% card but I would prefer to avoid a portion of the hassle if at all possible.

We re-carpeted our house using United Carpets as we were told Allied were in the hands of the administrators. Don't know how true this is but I found the quality of product and the service at United brilliant. Not sure about the finance deal but in today's climate I would do the 0% credit card thing. We paid for ours cash and got a great deal but I know not everyone can do that.
