No not really hun.

We have the church booked. Have the flowers, shoes, favour boxes. Sending the deposit for the car tomorrow. Just finishing off the guest list and will then be ordering the invitations. Had a meeting with the marquee company, just waiting for our quote and waiting for a quote from the bar company. Umm. Off to see a photographer Thursday evening.

Ha ha think you are much more organised than me-booked reception, church and photographer and ordered bridesmaid dresses, need to look for my dress in a couple of weeks-really indecisive tho so it may take a while ha ha!!

I'm 1st aug 09 too.

you may have seen a previous thread in which i confess to being slacker bride..... i have the date, the venue, and the man.

actually when i think about it i have the photographer (a friend's hubby) and a car for me (my dad's classic car) too.

no invites (though have sent save the date cards), no shoes (the ones i bought are too high), no dress, no favours!

emma_louise you are still a damned sight more organised than moi xxx

Oh no if you are a slacker bride then i must be the slackerest bride ? I haven't sent save the date cards yet!! I have no shoes, no dress, no favours, think I may be walking up the aisle in my birthday suit ? On the plus side I have ordered bridesmaid dresses so at least they will be decent ha ha

only sent them as half the wedding partyguests will be travelling down from scotland so we thought we had better give them fair warning. and i got a good deal on vistaprint!

AWww wow. H2b proposed to me just outside the church at Luss just in between the church and the beach. It was the same spot where we had our first kiss. It was on my birthday and then we stayed at Cameron House afterwards. I love it!! Im having the whole wedding at the piping centre in Glasgow

Aw thats so lovely and what a coincidence!! We always wanted to get married at loch lomond and went to look at the lodge on loch lomond but it was too small so opted for cameron house instead. The piping centre is gorgeous, I used to live just up from it a few years ago ? When are you getting married?

I live in the west end just now, been a bit of a gypsy and lived all over from city centre to south side whilst I was a student ha ha. Where did you live?

Get married on 30th May 2009. I live in west end - (think you were asking Suze bluewater, but I'll answer anyway!)

I lived in dennistoun for nearly 4 years. i know it didn't have a great reputation in the past but i loved it, and is still quite 'up and coming'. i have heard that some estate agents market it as 'merchant city east' - they are frankly kidding themselves!, though it is a lot nicer than it was even 5yrs ago. worked at the royal so it was only a short walk!

Dennistoun is really handy for the city centre, I know loads of people that live there and love it. When I was in uni I stayed in the strathclyde halls of residence just across from the royal. It will be getting done up for the commonwealth games too so it will get even better!

Have the venue, car and BM's dresses. Going to look for my dress next week and shortly sort out tog and entertainment hopefully xx
